President

40+ years in public service

A respected humanitarian and retired government servant, Abbas Khan brings nearly four decades of public service and social welfare experience to UZAK. His deep understanding of community needs has guided initiatives across education, healthcare, poverty alleviation and community development. As President, he sets the Trust's strategic direction while fostering transparency, accountability and inclusive governance — inspiring volunteers, professionals and community partners through calm, ethical leadership.

Noor Gousia Safdari

Secretary

Pharmacist by profession

A pharmacist by profession, Noor Gousia Safdari brings healthcare expertise and organisational leadership to the Trust's education, healthcare and community development initiatives. She oversees governance, strategic coordination, partnerships and compliance — working closely with educators, healthcare professionals, government agencies and volunteers to strengthen UZAK's mission of building healthier, more empowered communities.

Dr. Ruksana Hassan

Managing Director

34+ years of experience

With more than 34 years of professional experience, Dr. Ruksana Hassan leads the design and delivery of UZAK's programmes in education, skill development, women empowerment, mental health and community rehabilitation. She has built strong partnerships with government departments, educational institutions, healthcare organisations and civil society groups — guiding multidisciplinary teams toward measurable, sustainable social impact.

Mateen Qhadir Azizi

Treasurer

MBA · 20+ years in business leadership

An MBA with over 20 years of experience in marketing leadership, business development and strategic financial management, Mateen Qhadir Azizi strengthens UZAK's operational and financial foundation. He ensures transparency, accountability and effective use of resources — combining sound financial governance with a results-oriented approach to advance the Trust's mission of education, healthcare and community welfare.
