Cloth Bag Distribution Drive reaches 200+ residents

Reusable cloth bags were distributed free across Mulbagal Taluk to help residents cut down on single-use plastic.

UZAK Charitable Trust distributed reusable cloth bags free of cost to more than 200 residents across Mulbagal Taluk, encouraging a practical, everyday alternative to single-use plastic.

Alongside the bags, volunteers shared awareness messages on the harm caused by plastic waste — from drainage blockages to soil and water pollution — and the value of simple daily substitutions.

The drive was framed around collective habit change: a cloth bag only reduces plastic use if people actually carry it, so the emphasis was on making that switch feel easy and normal.
