Health Awareness Program Promotes Healthy Living

In collaboration with NU YOUNG, UZAK brought preventive healthcare guidance to youth, women and senior citizens across the community.

UZAK Charitable Trust, in collaboration with NU YOUNG, organised a Health Awareness Program to promote healthy living and preventive healthcare. Around 75 individuals — including youth, women, senior citizens and community members — took part.

The session focused on balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management and preventive health practices. Resource persons explained how simple daily habits — nutritious food, staying active, personal hygiene, sufficient water intake and regular health check-ups — can significantly reduce the risk of lifestyle-related diseases.

Participants were also educated on mental well-being and avoiding harmful habits such as tobacco and alcohol. The program closed with a reminder that good health is the foundation of a happy, productive life.
