Amrit Jeevan Nutritional Kits reach rural women

₹500 nutritional kits were distributed to pregnant women, lactating mothers, adolescent girls and widows across rural Kolar District.

UZAK Charitable Trust launched the Amrit Jeevan Nutritional Kits Distribution Drive to address anaemia, fatigue and weakened immunity among rural women in Kolar District — distributing kits worth ₹500 each, curated to supplement daily dietary needs.

The kits primarily reached pregnant women, lactating mothers, adolescent girls, widows and women from vulnerable households with limited access to balanced nutrition, alongside sessions on healthy eating, hygiene and maternal health.

Beyond the kits themselves, the drive doubled as a health-awareness platform, encouraging women to adopt healthier lifestyles and seek regular check-ups for themselves and their families.
