Durable, ergonomic walking sticks were distributed free to residents aged 75 and above, alongside fall-prevention awareness.
UZAK Charitable Trust distributed walking sticks free of cost to more than 30 senior citizens aged 75 and above at the BHS Learning Centre, Mulbagal, through its Walking Stick Distribution Initiative.
Beneficiaries from economically vulnerable backgrounds received durable, ergonomically designed walking sticks, alongside guidance from healthcare professionals and volunteers on fall prevention and staying active.
The event doubled as a community gathering, bringing together volunteers, caregivers and family members to recognise and support the elderly residents in attendance.
