Residents learned rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge and household water-conservation techniques from environmental experts.
UZAK Charitable Trust conducted a Water Literacy Workshop at the BHS Learning Centre, Mulbagal, for more than 100 residents of Hyderi Nagar, focused on responsible water management amid growing scarcity concerns.
Environmental experts covered rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge, household water management and water quality, showing how small daily changes reduce wastage over time.
Participants were encouraged to become "Water Ambassadors," carrying the guidance back to their own families and neighbours rather than treating it as a one-off session.
